RUSTIC WEDDING AT BEAVER LAKE LODGE | TIM & TINA
I’ve known Tim and Tina for several years now and their rustic wedding was filled with many amazing and memorable moments. The forecast said rain but we didn’t see a drop all day. Not bad for March in Washington!
The Lovell wedding was set at Beaver Lake Lodge, which a rustic wedding venue located on beautiful Beaver Lake in Sammamish, WA. The lodge looks like a log cabin inside with a beautiful river rock fireplace. It is surrounded by a lush forest and a quiet lake front, perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony that is true to what the Pacific Northwest is all about. Both the bride and groom plus their respective families are Washington natives, so it was important that their wedding be true to their northwest roots.
The day started out at the bride and groom’s home, where everyone relaxed throughout the day and got ready for the festivities. The girls brought their A-game with awesome rain boots for the unpredictable weather and muddy terrain around the venue. Tina’s were the best though, covered in cute little cats. Tim loved them too, haha. 😉
Everyone then traveled separately to Beaver Lake, where Tim and Tina had their first look, which was full of genuine surprise and pure joy. After that, we managed to sneak in some time for bridal portraits around the lake and tucked back into the trees. These two were more than ready to get married and I could sense the anticipation in their movements and intimate glances. It was time.
The bride and groom tucked away as their guests arrived, and I enjoyed all of the rustic wedding decor and the faces of happy guests as they stepped foot into the lodge. The venue was decked out with dainty lights and rustic details such as a custom wood sign made by the father of the bride that read “T&T Lovell – est. 3-14.15” that hung perfectly above the fireplace. The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, taking place in front of a burning fire out of that kick-ass river rock fireplace I mentioned earlier (I have a thing for such fireplaces).
Afterwards, delicious food was served and awesome music resounded through the walls of that log cabin. It was a rockin’ evening and I am so glad I got to party it up with the Lovells at this joyous event. Thank you for including me!
