BELLE CHAPEL ELOPEMENT | KELSEY & IAN
This Belle Chapel elopement is a special one folks. I truly love what I do and this session is an example of why love is so wonderful and why the connections that can be made while working in the wedding business tend to stick around. I first met Kelsey when she was a bridesmaid in my first ever wedding. The bride was the younger sister of one of my very best friends, so it was a very special and nerve-wracking day for me as the photographer. Kelsey stuck out to me immediately with her ear to ear grin and positively sweet demeanor. She was the nicest girl and I was instantly drawn to her. She was so sweet taking care of Beth, the bride, and helpful with everything going on.
Fast forward to last fall. Kelsey contacted me to see if I were available to photograph her intimate elopement to Ian in January at the Belle Chapel in Snohomish and I couldn’t have been more excited to hear from her! They planned a very private ceremony for family and closest friends at the adorable little church in the adorable town of Snohomish, one of my favorite places. I followed her and Ian as they got dressed and ready for their ceremony, and then as Kelsey’s father walked her down the aisle to meet her groom. It was such an honor to witness these two pledge their lives to each other.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom and I took some intimate portraits around the gardens, where some lovely hanging lights were strung through the trees. It was very romantic and these two had no issue with keeping each other warm with their snuggles and soft kisses. It was just so obvious that these two were overjoyed with their newlywed status and the life they were about to embark upon together. I was so happy to be there with them and wish them a lifetime of blissful happiness.
