HURRICANE RIDGE ENGAGEMENT | BRYAN & TARA
I had the immense pleasure of meeting Bryan & Tara over the summer up on Hurricane Hill, a nice jaunt past Hurricane Ridge, for some sunset engagement portraits. The location was nothing short of spectacular, the weather perfection, and the subjects I had in front of me were wonderfully, and conveniently, very photogenic. 😉
If you’ve never been up to Hurricane Ridge, you must must MUST go, stat!! It is so spectacular, I just don’t know any other way to describe it. One of the absolute must-see places in Washington State that I make sure to send every visitor I talk to about this area that I love so very much. Winter, spring, summer, fall, any time of year is a good time to go (make sure your car can handle some icy terrain in winter).
So, since you can tell how much I like the place, you can only imagine my delight at shooting these photos at sunset on a beautiful summer day in August. Ohhhhh man! These two humans are very much in love and it was a delight to be around. They were so kind, fun-loving and genuine with each other; truly an inspiration of what love can and should be. When you put two people this much in love with each other in front of a spectacular mountain range at sunset, it’s hard to beat.
Not that they needed any help being stylish (I couldn’t decide who’s hair was more impressive, Bryan’s or Tara’s), but all of the fashion from this shoot was provided by Moss, the cutest shop in existence, located in the heart of downtown Port Angeles, WA. Every time I’m in town I stop in and browse their authentic PNW inspired clothing and wares. It’s important to support the local businesses, ya feel me?
Anyway, without further adieu: Bryan & Tara
