LAKE CRESCENT ENGAGEMENT | KRISTIN & DAVON part 2

Recently I posted about Kristin & Davon and the first part of their engagement session up in the mountains, and today I bring you part two at the lake. This adorable couple was super adventurous and were very excited about their Lake Crescent engagement photos and how epic they could be, so we had to include it on our list of stops throughout the day. This session had to be broken out into 3 parts because we did so much, it was crazy and wonderful all at the same time!

The leaves were still changing and the trees looked absolutely gorgeous as we traveled west from Port Angeles to the southeast corner of the iconic Lake Crescent. As we drove around the lake looking for epic spots to take photos, I spotted this sweet looking boulder right off the road and instantly pointed to it and exclaimed, “You guys! Would you pretty please climb up that rock?? I think you could totally do it! Please?!” and they did not hesitate for one second. Even Titan jumped up the rock, showing off his superior four legged capabilities as Davon lent a helping hand down to his lovely bride.  The mood on the lake was foggy and very typical for fall in the PNW. It was luckily a little warmer than our adventure atop Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains, but still chilly so these two lovebirds kept each other close for warmth. We strolled along the shore and threw big mossy branches around for Titan to chase. He loved playing fetch in Bovee’s Meadow, just south of Lake Crescent Lodge.

We also spent some time exploring around the infamous Storm King Ranger Station, an adorable little cabin situation along the shore of the lake with the mountains behind it. The cabin is a popular tourist destination in the busy summer months, but it was completely deserted for us and looked absolutely perfect behind the adorable couple.

Believe it or not, there is one more part to come from this session…sunset on the shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca! Check back soon!
