MOUNTAIN ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS | KRISTIN & DAVON
What could possibly be better than a fun loving couple taking a walk with their dog along a ridge with sweeping mountain views in every direction? Nothing is the answer to that question. Kristin and Davon are certainly a fun loving couple and they just so happen to have a pretty awesome dog named Titan. The four of us adventured up to Hurricane Ridge for part one of their three part engagement session. Yes, you heard that right, three parts! We just couldn’t narrow it down to one location when we were discussing where we wanted to go for their engagement session, so we decided to just go for it and adventure around the Olympic Peninsula for a whole day together. Stay tuned for posts about part two at Lake Crescent and part three at sunset on a Port Angeles beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It was an epic day to say the least and we were all very happy and tired at the end of it all.
Hurricane Ridge is an awesome location for photoshoots because it offers the obvious sweeping mountain views, but also views of Ediz Hook and downtown Port Angeles as well as lush forest and wildlife sightings. You can hike and enjoy epic sunsets year-round, just confirming that this little corner of the world is very special and a perfect backdrop for an adventurous couple in love. When Kristin, Davon, Titan and I adventured up to the Ridge in late October, we were thrilled to see that there was already a good amount of snow to play in. It was already bitingly cold as well, so the lovebirds bundled up and embraced the cold to bring them closer together. They snuggled up on a blanket and kept each other warm while I snapped away.
We had a great time in the mountains and then continued our adventurous day together at Lake Crescent. Check back soon for more photos of this adorable couple.
Cheers!
