OLSON MANSION WEDDING | CHELSEA & BRETT
Chelsea and Brett were some of my favorite clients this year. They and their entire crew were just such a blast during the entire day, from start to finish, and welcomed me with open arms. We started out at a downtown hotel with the girls getting ready with hair and makeup. They shared laughs, mimosas and gifts while they took turns getting their makeup and hair done as well as work together to put finishing touches on the seating chart. It was great to get some behind-the-scenes shots of what it means to be a bridesmaid.
After everyone was all dolled up, we all headed over to the Olson Mansion. The beautiful bride, Chelsea, put on her dress and enjoyed her time with her best girlfriends as they all prepared for the day’s festivities. Brett and the boys got ready downstairs at the Mansion and as soon as his tie was tied and the boutonniere was pinned, the groom was off to see his lady at their first look. Chelsea and Brett shared an intimate moment together on the hillside overlooking the venue property. Shortly after, their ceremony was held in a lovely field below the mansion under a wooden alter made by family members.
We spent some time taking some fun photographs around the property while Chelsea & Brett’s guests began to enjoy the cocktail hour before the reception. Next, everyone was seated for dinner and they all got to watch first dances and toasts while they enjoyed their dinner. I was able to steal the bride and groom for some sunset photos right as the sun was going down and boy, am I glad I did! It was a gorgeous September day and the late summer sun was spectacular. The newlyweds were happy to have stolen away a few moments for themselves to cuddle up and enjoy each other. I was there with my camera and managed to capture some beautiful moments between the lovebirds before they ran back inside to dance the night away with their friends and family.
Chelsea & Brett’s guests were the most hilarious and fun group of dancers I’ve seen in a long time at a wedding and they were a total blast to follow around the dance floor. I didn’t even feel like I was working the whole day, but rather a part of their crew. It was so much fun, thank you so much to the bride and groom for having me!
