RUSTIC OUTDOOR WEDDING | LINDSAY & SCOTT
Lindsay & Scott held their beautiful and rustic outdoor wedding at Belladere Estates in Enumclaw on a glorious day in August. Lindsay’s family is close with the owner of the venue, so when she and Scott were looking for the perfect location to hold their nuptials, they knew right away that this beautiful property was meant for them.
These two lovebirds have a super cute and unique love story, which I thoroughly enjoyed hearing more details from during the speeches at their reception. Lindsay met Scott completely by chance at a buffet line in Las Vegas. It was literally love at first sight! They didn’t live in the same state or anything, but that silly little detail was no match for fate because Scott made his way up to Washington in no time to start his life with Lindsay. They have been inseparable every since and not too long after, their beautiful daughter Clara joined their family.
When I arrived at Belladere for Scott and Lindsay’s wedding, I felt like I was walking onto a Pinterest board! So many amazing rustic wedding details, perfect for an outdoor summer wedding in Washington. The bride and groom had created a custom backdrop for their ceremony made from vintage doors and lined the aisle with mason jars filled with gorgeous summer blooms.
I spent some time in the bridal suite with Lindsay, her mother, her best girl friends and of course Miss Clara as they all got gussied up for the ceremony. I snuck off for a few minutes to take some photos of the bride and groom’s wedding rings, which were surprises for them both as neither Lindsay or Scott had seen their own bands yet. I was so excited to find a little succulent arrangement around the back of the main house, which made for the most perfect spot to take some cool ring shots. I could take detail photos all day because they are so fun, so I had to do a fist pump for myself when I found the succulents because omg yay SUCCULENTS! I may be a little obsessed with plants these days, so what? Anyway, moving on….
Scott and his groomsmen along with his father got ready on the lower level of the house and shared a few cocktails before Scott headed off to set up for the first look. Once we got him settled in, Lindsay made her way up to meet him. They are so cute together and you could really feel the love they shared when they saw each other all dressed up for the first time on their wedding day. These two have something very special.
We wandered about the property for a while snapping portraits and then continued with family and group shots before everyone tucked away while guests were arriving prior to the ceremony. Earlier in the day, some wind had whipped through the property and uprooted some of the decorations set about, but by ceremony time everything had died down and it really couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.
The ceremony was short and sweet, with lots of laughs and happy tears shed. Lindsay & Scott shared a passionate first kiss before running off to make it official by signing the marriage certificate. After the business side was over, it was time to party! The happy couple partied the night away with family and friends, all the while exchanging loving glances and embraces whenever possible. Scott snuck off with his guys and the dads for some celebratory cigars while the ladies continued to tear up the dance floor.
What wedding is complete without a grand exit? These two opted to peel out in a white Corvette, which was pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Cheers to you, Lindsay & Scott! I had an amazing day with you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness together! 😀
