CALIFORNIA WINERY WEDDING | MATT & APRIL

Matt and April were married at the Danza Del Sol Winery in the city of Temecula, California on a beautiful July day and it was a completely gorgeous affair. The forecast said to prepare for scorching sun, but it turned out to be cooler than expected which was the recipe for a perfect summer wedding. And that it truly was my friends, all concluded with a spectacular sunset behind the vineyard.

Southern California’s wine country is a sight to behold. It was my first time to the area and every vineyard we passed made me exuberantly exclaim “Oh!! That one! Let’s go wine tasting there too!” Alas, there were just too many to hit them all. Not a bad problem to have, I must say.

Anyway, on to the Beal wedding. Matt & April have been friends of my husband and myself for many years now and this wedding was more than a privilege to be a part of. Matt is from the Boston area and April is from San Diego. They each have their own groups of friends that were characteristic of their respective places of origin, which was immensely fun to watch blend together. I laughed throughout the whole thing, from the rehearsal dinner to the end of the reception, tearing it up on the dance floor with my new friends. It was such a blast.

Danza Del Sol is a lovely venue, set on a hill overlooking the vineyard below. The ceremony was held in a shaded grassy area while the reception was held inside where it was a little cooler, which was perfect for all the dancing that went down. When the sun set behind the rows and rows of grapevines in the evening, the sky turned a bright shade of pink, illuminating the clouds.

Everything went off without a hitch and the bride and groom had an amazing wedding day. Thanks to all the vendors for their hard work!
