SECOND BEACH, LA PUSH ENGAGEMENT SESSION | ZANE & YELA

I don’t know where to start with these two beautiful, adventure loving people and the beautiful images we created as a result of this session out at Second Beach at La Push. It is surely a favorite to-date.

Yela is a stunning beauty (reminds me of a forest nymph for some reason) and her man, Zane, is a tall drink of water with the most infectious smile. Actually, they both do, so put them together and it’s smiles all around. They made each other laugh and also held each other with a certain tenderness that only exists when the love is real folks. I felt privileged to witness it.

We had a great time together frolicking along the beach, and the amazing scenery only enhanced the experience. It was one of those perfect summer days in Washington that makes us natives so incredibly thankful to call this spectacular place home.

Second Beach at La Push is one of those infamous places in Washington State that everyone travels far and wide to see, and it’s instantly obvious when you get there why this is so true. The sea stacks are immense and daunting, the coastline is ever changing and the crashing waves effortlessly powerful.  It’s even more magical when the sun goes down. Summer sunsets on the Pacific coast just cannot be beat, and the warm August sun on this particular evening let us see it all the way through. It was really hard to leave and I could see why there were so many people pitching their tents for the night.

Summer on the Olympic Peninsula is amazing…there is nothing else like it.
